The whole point of Jesus coming to this earth was to give his life as a ransom for the world.  Without this sacrifice, there would be no such thing as Christianity.  So as Paul boldly proclaimed, "We Preach Christ Crucified" (1 Corinthians 1:23). Using texts from the New Testament Epistles we will meditate on what God has done for us in Christ.  Learning again what great love the Lord has for us, we will go back and recall the events of Christ's passion, and ponder anew the incredible blessings that come to us through his death.

This year’s midweek services will be ones of meditation and reflection, purposefully standing out in stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of our day. For a short time you will be able to slow down and rid your minds of countless worries and concerns and focus entirely on your connection to Christ, who so willingly gave his life for you. Through the study of Scripture, personal moments of confession, and God’s gracious absolution, you will grow in your faith.
